Brotherhood on Two Wheels: The Story of the "Old Gits" Motorcycle Adventures
What started as a casual group of friends with a shared passion for motorcycles has evolved into a long-standing tradition of adventure and exploration. The "Old Gits," an informal collective of riders brought together through work, school, or mutual connections, may have varying levels of motorcycle experience, but they share a common love for the open road.
Our journey began in 1998 with a tour of Scotland, tracing the coastal roads as closely as possible. Years later, this scenic route was officially recognised as the North Coast 500 (NC500), which some members of the group revisited in 2024.
With each trip, the Old Gits document their experiences—taking notes, capturing photographs, and compiling reports. These serve as both cherished mementos for the riders and inspiration for others looking to embark on their own two-wheeled adventures.
